BITSAT 2026 a computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani For The Academic Year 2026-27. BITSAT 2026 Registration started from 15 December,2025 and the last date was 16 March 2026. BITSAT 2026 is the entrance exam for admission into  BITS Pilani for its Campuses at Pilani, K K Birla Goa, and Hyderabad.

Eligibility for BITSAT 2026

The Students applying for BITSAT 2026 must fulfill the Eligibility Criteria given below.

For B.E. (Except B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engg.), and M.Sc. Programmes 

  • Candidates must have completed their 12th-grade examination under the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or an equivalent qualification. 
  • A minimum of five subjects is required, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, one Language, and any additional subject beyond these four. 
  • Candidates must secure: An aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and At least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually. 

For B.Pharm., and B.E. Environmental and Sustainability Engg.* Programme 

  • Candidates must have completed their 12th-grade examination under the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or an equivalent qualification. 
  • A minimum of five subjects is required, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, one Language, and any additional subject beyond these four. 
  • Candidates must secure:  An aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, and  At least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics individually.
  • Both theory and practical components must be considered while calculating percentages

Important Notes 

  •  Academic Requirements: Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) from a recognized  Central or State board.
  • Current Enrollment Restriction: Students currently enrolled in any programme at a BITS campus are not eligible to appear for BITSAT-2026. Students who have passed the 12th examination in 2024 or earlier are not eligible to appear for BITSAT2026.
  • A candidate may appear a maximum of two times in BITSAT-2026

  • All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with a choice of four answers, only one being correct choice.Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark). 
  • Attempting all the questions is NOT mandatory. No marks are awarded for questions un-attempted. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as the correct answer.

When is the BITSAT 2026  Pilani entrance exam 2026?

BITSAT 2026 will be held in two sessions: the first Session will be held on April 15–16, 2026 (revised) and Session 2 from May 24–26, 2026. The last date to apply for Session 1 is March 19, 2026, while registration for Session 2 runs from April 20 to May 2, 2026. Slot booking for Session 1 is March 27–31, 2026.

Is 250 a good score in BITSAT?
