The Faculty of Law at the University of Delhi, a name that has shaped generations of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars since 1924 has officially opened admissions for its Five-Year Integrated Law Programmes for the academic session OF BA LLB Delhi university 2026-27.
The Faculty of Law was established in 1924 by the University of Delhi and is an accredited legal institution by the Bar Council of India for its LL.B. degree. The Faculty of law Delhi university runs LL.B. programmes from three Centres, while LL.M. and Ph.D. are conducted at the level of the Faculty of law Delhi university.
The biggest recent milestone came in 2022, the University’s centennial year, when BA LLB Delhi university 2026-27 introduced the Five-Year Integrated Law Programmes — B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) — as its flagship new offering. The 2026–27 session marks the third cohort of this programme, and competition is expected to be fierce.
BA LLB Delhi university 2026-27 Programmes
BA LLB Delhi university 2026-27 offers exactly two five-year integrated law programmes under the Faculty of Law. Both lead to a dual degree upon successful completion of all ten semesters, but they cater to different academic interests.
B.A. LL.B. (Honours) is the classic liberal arts and law combination. Across five years it weaves together subjects from humanities and social sciences — political science, sociology, history — with comprehensive legal training. It is the ideal route for those drawn to constitutional law, human rights, public interest litigation, civil services, or academia.
B.B.A. LL.B. (Honours) pairs business administration with law. It builds fluency in management, economics, and corporate thinking alongside professional legal education, making it the natural fit for anyone eyeing corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, or in-house legal roles at top companies.
Both programmes are taught at the Faculty of Law on Delhi University’s North Campus, in Kanad Bhawan. Both award the same Bar Council of India recognised degree. The difference lies in the flavour of the five-year journey — one is shaped by the humanities, the other by business.

Step 5 — Fill Programme Preferences. Choose whether you want B.A. LL.B. or B.B.A. LL.B., or list both in your preferred order. Be extremely careful — once the preference deadline passes, the order cannot be changed, and no programme can be added or removed.
